The slice of life genre can contain hilarious comedic moments, serious drama, and even a bit of romance - it all depends on what viewers are looking for. Still, even the most action-oriented anime viewer can enjoy a simple story about the day-to-day lives of its characters. I generally keep my mods organized as heck, but that's because I chipped away at it over the course of a month to do so, and I like being able to find things easier.With shows known far and wide like Dragon Ball or One Piece, it's hard to deny the popularity of anime. I also have a folder for new mods, so if a problem arises it's easier to see if it was caused by a new mod. These ones have their own folder, so it's easier to find and update them as needed: I had a few others, but they have yet to need an update since getting them so they have been moved out. I labeled the folder 'Often Updated' since it's not always, but tends to be ones broken by updates. You can find that by going to your Windows Settings => System => Display Options (type Settings in the Windows search bar in the lower left of your screen for a shortcut.) One other kind of out-of-the box option it could be is if the game resolution you're trying to set is different than the default resolution of your monitor. You can open it in any plain text tool, like notepad, if you want to see what's in it, it's pretty interesting. The file is in the root of /documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 4, and should only be a few kb in size. The risk is low, b/c we can fix that, too. The risk is there's a small chance you're going to get a "video card not supported" error after you delete it. It is not completely risk-free to do so, but you can delete that file and your game will generate another one when you restart. If it gets out of whack (tech term) it could cause the problems you're seeing. That's a config file that tells the game what your individual settings are that gets stored on your local machine. It could be a corrupt/incorrectly saved options.ini file. I've been a Sims player and Windows user for 20 years, I don't think there's a fail condition I haven't seen at least once. Depending on what’s broken they may decide to work on fixes but again be patient. She’s been taking some time off and only working when she feels up to it, so the response time on these updates is amazing. If your mods will not stay enabled, please check here for a work around. Here is a comprehensive listed of all mods rated T or below that are broken/updated. It will be updated as modders check and report their content. Every mod except those previously broken are listed as “unknown” since it is still unknown what has been broken. It has a comprehensive list in a Google sheets doc of all mods and their current status (including adult mods). SimsVIP has a great resource for broken mods. MCCC is compatible with the patch and does not require updating. Clean UI, TOOL, and Better BuildBuy are confirmed as broken and updates are coming soon.
