I submitted another ticket asking if they could transfer or recover my Steam character, and at 3PM they responded with basically "no" - I'm now asking if they can revert the changes, and. They linked the accounts yesterday morning, and found out the Steam account is gone in the afternoon. Well, I found out my old characters were never gone - and sure enough, my old characters are back again. I've got 125 hours so far on my Steam account, and was looking into the Lifetime Membership - needed to purchase it through an ARC account, and I submitted a ticket to link it to my existing ARC account. Steam created a new account for me - I figured my characters had been deleted due to inactivity. Had an ARC account that I barely had any progress on, left the game for a few years, came back and installed it through Steam. Just realize the more places that have your information the greater the chances of it being compromised. I know my reasons may not make much sense to some people. I hate the frigging practice needing multiple clients for one game which my cynical gamer sense tells me that's where this is headed. I am not going to link it to anyplace I feel will compromise it.
